Quality Assurance

All interviewers participated in special training and regularly receive further instruction material.

The interviewers are evaluated by a computer-aided system making possible a project-related selection of the interviewers according to the requirements of the specific kind of survey.

Independently from the method, we check the content of every interview with all interviews of one interviewer being read one next to the other.

We furthermore verify if the freelancers being personally briefed for every coding plan give the correct codes.

Every freelancer who has been working for us for a while is spot-checked in every study. In the case of new co-workers, we supervise their work to 100% the first times.

The further quality assurance depends on the method of the research.

Business-to-business research
These interviews are conducted either personally by SIGHT or by a permanent staff of freelancers who are personally trained face-to-face.

Studio interviews
In the case of complex studies we personally supervise the respective studios at the beginning of each survey. We continuously corporate with approximately 10-15 studios covering entire Germany, so that in case of less complex studies, the studios are briefed by written interviewer instructions and a personal telephone briefing.

Telephone interviewing
A supervisor is present in the telephone studio. Furthermore we have the possibility to listen in any telephone conversation. Additionally, a telephone computer registers all telephone conversations.

Data processing
The data processing of course also has to be verified. The operating figures are spot-checked. Additionally, a plausibility check is done. Branch knowledge furthermore helps to ascertain if certain values can be correct or if there is any mistake.
